What does a battery-health percentage leave out?

A battery-health percentage is a starting point, not the entire report. Ask what was measured, what reference was used and whether the figure is a BMS-reported value or an independent estimate.

The date, conditions, exact vehicle variant and any stated uncertainty matter. A capacity figure cannot by itself describe every aspect of pack condition or promise that no repair will be needed.

Keep the report’s own wording when you record the result. Reported health, calculated capacity retention and a range-based estimate should not be relabelled as the same measurement.
