What would you check if two battery reports disagree?

Before averaging two battery-health results, check whether they are measuring the same thing. A BMS estimate, a measured energy assessment and a range-based inference can differ for understandable reasons.

Match the vehicle, dates, original baseline and test conditions. Ask each provider to explain its method and uncertainty. Two readings copied from one underlying source are not independent confirmation.

If a material disagreement remains, use it to define the next assessment. Combining incompatible percentages into a tidy average can hide the question that still needs answering.
