Which costs belong in an honest weekly charging comparison?

Decide whether you are comparing energy alone, complete charging sessions or total ownership. Those are different totals, and each can be useful if it is labelled clearly.

For a weekly charging comparison, add billed energy costs and any applicable connection, parking or subscription charges. Use the same dates for the distance record and note a large difference between starting and ending charge.

Keep the measurement basis consistent. Battery-energy consumption and purchased electricity are not interchangeable unless the calculation explicitly accounts for the difference.
